With flushed cheeks and an empty jug held high, this cheerful drinker captures a moment of festive joy. It was painted in 1629 by Judith Leyster, Haarlem’s only female master painter. This work is one of her most celebrated pieces.

Today is World AIDS Day.

We will never ever forget those who were taken so brutally, with love and hope in our hearts for an AIDS-free future.

What is remembered lives. 🕯️

that’s a pretty good turnout for an internal party vote tbh, most people who join a political party just join to signal broad agreement with that party’s platform
The Your Party Trans Liberation motions have passed.

But with only 7265 our of their 22839 registered members (so, just under a third) of members actually voting in favour, is this strong a victory?

Your Party has a way to go if it wants to get serious about trans rights.
Good news! The new party is the first UK party to commit to trans liberation.
