A family member (by chance, a translator) is at the social security services this morning in Portugal. An elderly Chinese couple entered the offices. They do not speak Portuguese or English, and asked for her help.

Rachel, I know some colleagues from EMT universities use the EMT framework precisely for this. For instance, at Leiden, we ask students in different courses to reflect on their acquisition of these competences.
