One thing I personally rate JRPGs on is how much NPC energy they have. It is a major factor in how invested I get in the world the game takes place in.
Buy a solo indie dev's game because I want to support them.
Find out it uses OpenAI to write "non-important NPC dialogue".

In a 3 year span, I have play the following Dragon Quest games:

2R
3
3 SNES
3 R
4
5 DS
8 3DS
All while juggling other games as well. I have played 11 but that was way back in the Before Times of 2019.
I plan on playing 6 DS and a few side games like the two Builders and the Rocket Slimes.

Today I am learning that ppl think the symbol associated with Dedede is a peace sign. did the locs ever claim this? seems obvious it's a rabbit, because Kirby is Of The Stars, and in Japanese culture bunnies are pounding mochi on the moon, and Dedede wields a hammer, and kirby is squishy like mochi
