Don't use Xcode much, but I just moved from an m1 ultra to an m4 pro and the speed diff is negligible on pretty much everything else so I wouldn't bet on a big upgrade.

The cheap feeling comes from the aluminum core I think. It just feels lighter than a carbon steel typically would.
I kinda got used to that with the strata but totally get where you're coming from.

TBH, I think you can be pretty confident that's not the case. It just doesn't behave like it has a coating.
I think they're just doing something clever with the combo of nitriding and texturing and I just want to figure out how that thing works.

They should have the range from the lowest low to the highest high on every single burner. Same problem with blenders.

I can see how they got to this decision (it's a shared app with at least slightly more beneficial integrations to appliances like washer/dryer cycle notifications), but I don't think it adds anything here.
