Quite fond of this sequence, where it stops talking and indulges in a bit more abstraction.

While they didn't really succeed in making an Angel's Egg viable for the 80s home video market, they used it as base for their own creative, strange thing and I'm glad it exists.

The film's highlight is likely the montage set to Horacio Moscovici's "Carnavalito Tango", which does a lot more to integrate new footage with original animation. Like much of the film it's rather clumsy, but the pleasant, energetic music and willingness to eschew narration really elevates this bit.

It's a bit of a mess, but an interesting object. I'm quite fond of how interested it is in graphic matches and recreating little aesthetic things from the animation, the "Fisherman" that attacks Frank towards the start shown in shadow throwing his spear that's modeled of the one in animation is fun!
