Grixis azula and doubling up on a lightning strike and then getting it back with professor zei was great.
Got two earthen kings for one deck as well so that was a fun ramp engine.

But yeah wanted to play a toph deck and an azula deck and the pool was good enough to accommodate both so yeah had fun.
Blue second draw does good work.
Definitely found white was strong(when I played vs it) but didn't have much for the pool I got.

Done with prerelease. Got a black azula kit and then tried to make rakdos work but had very rough draws / hands for 4 games. That said when it works fire nation palace does some silly stuff with firebending 4 and makes it work. Also got sozins comet from the prize pack from a bye on round 3.

Side note: thinking how each magic con kinda has a set except las vegas. Like Atlanta will be star trek?, Amsterdam has marvel? and las Vegas is the halfway point between strix haven and marvel?

Technically since Kamigawa gave us suit up (to make a creature or vehicle into an artifact creature) & we did get a spider-suit so there is a silly idea of suiting up your spider suit turned mecha.
