it is so draining to engage with people who think i’m arguing or personally attacking them every time I try to solve an issue or express my emotions. it creates mental exhaustion. if someone can’t tolerate you asking clarifying questions and sharing how you feel, keep your distance.

A soulmate is not going to know how to automatically handle you. BUT….A soulmate is going to learn and grow with you through your flaws and insecurities. A soulmate will choose to stay when things get tough. They will look for solutions & communicate instead of running & quitting.

cheating is unforgivable in my book, but that’s just me. i don't want you anymore, i'm never going to look at you the same, i'll never be able to trust you again, my guard is always going to be up & i'm going to make you pay for it every single day and that's not a sane way to live.

aftercare in relationships in general isn't discussed enough. if we get into a huge fight or disagreement, there needs to be aftercare. if we have some wild sex, there needs to be aftercare. if we have a series of super deep conversations, there needs to be aftercare
