Stephen Miller is now arguing that assimilation is fundamentally impossible and that certain cultures are not compatible with Western civilization

Astonishing array of reply guys on that article who have found The Answer.

And the 2021 baseline must have already been massively degraded.

Some bold assumptions going on about land use there.

Literally going through exactly this right now. Clear cut case of an abusive man. The response from organization "rejects any claim that in continuing to employ [abuser] we are somehow complicit in the injustice towards women who face power differentials when they speak up about abuse."

Sitting down with oil companies to discuss climate policy is like sitting down with Epstein to discuss child safety.

We need to recognize evil as evil and act accordingly.

We simply cannot accept that people are driving climate change because they want to. It's too sick, too evil. It's unthinkable. But the reality of evil has never been plainer. It's laid out in Epstein's emails in all its dumb, lazy, ambient cruelty. 7/x

Why am I talking about this? Because I love our planet, and I want her to thrive! And I think that people who share my love have been psyching themselves into naive ways of thinking for decades. And as long as we continue to do so, we'll continue to lose. 6/x

Denialism is sooooo two decades ago. New Zealand bunkers are little bickies. Better to just reshape the entire globe, so that the Arctic countries are the center of the world, thriving while everyone else burns. 5/x

Shift global trade to a melted Arctic, relocate white populations, extract minerals, open up farmlands. And get faaaaar away from the hellscape into which they are driving warm countries full of brown people. 4/x

These are just some glimpses into how the evil north thinks. I'm pretty sure climate change weaponization is core to Putin's strategy, and that it lies behind the move, deadly serious and long term, to annex Canada and Greenland. 3/x

In another email, climate change's favorability to eugenics is highlighted:

>“Maybe climate change is a good way of dealing with overpopulation,” muses Joscha Bach, a German cognitive scientist. 2/x

See, that's where a true visionary would see an opportunity. Living space, minerals, agriculture: everything you need to thrive while the rest of the world burns.

a bunch of fascists are not "the Buddhists". They're just assholes using Buddhism.

I feel sad for previous generations, who just didn't use it because it didn't exist. Forever denied the pleasure of *choosing* not to use it.

If Australia is not properly monitoring soil, who is? Who is better equipped? The conditions for exchanging CO2 can vary wildly even in the same field: different topsoil, vegetation, rain runoff, and so many other factors. It's a massive, living, breathing dynamic system within which life is born.

Marshal shut him down and wouldn't even consider it. His reputation was that he was brought on board to neuter climate change research at CSIRO. During his tenure CSIRO staff received an email saying climate change was no longer a priority. I got to see how that worked first hand.
November 24, 2025 at 7:50 PM
He proposed that the CSIRO work with farmers to monitor soil in different places and under different conditions to see how management practices might help sequester more CO2.

I was pretty surprised that this wasn't done already! 3/x

Jeffrey asked Marshal if the CSIRO would undertake monitoring of CO2 exchange in Australian farmlands. He pointed out that despite the vast acreage under agricultural use (4,260,000 km2, around 10% of global total) we know little of how CO2 is absorbed or emitted. 2/x
