🌈 rainbow rose blanket 🌹🧶

after approximately four months, it's finally complete! i'm extremely happy with how it turned out. thank you to everyone who cheered me on throughout the process 💕

the anxiety that's followed this loss has been hard for me to wrap my head around. she's already gone, she's not coming back, the worst has already happened, and there are no other animals here for me to worry about. a whole lot of sadness is understandable, but what do i have to be anxious about?

today's outfit 🎀

the sweater is vintage and is definitely scratchy, but wearing something underneath takes care of that. i really like it... it has hearts and ribbons and dogs and cats and ducks in the pattern

the christmas blanket i crocheted for my mom is finally complete! i started it in june. so yes, i was making a blanket during the hottest months lmao. but i love how it turned out 💗🎄🧶

i'll be gifting it to her probably on thanksgiving so she can have it available to enjoy throughout december

i was so excited to see how the colors would look together that i got the first section worked up as soon as possible, and i am not disappointed! i'm so looking forward to this! it's going to be a runner for a long dresser in my bedroom. i think seven sections like this will make it long enough

it took me way too long to find an option that had all the colors i needed available, lots of brands with colors that were a little off in a way i couldn't accept or that just weren't available in anything remotely close to what i needed. but... yarn for my next project has been secured ✨
