When I was inhabiting the Dark Side (now aka X), someone who I felt was genuine posted a leaked spreadsheet of Russian donations to Conservative MP's. Saved it, as my then MP was on it. It was rife then and I'm sure still is now.

It appears that many people never learn. Brexit was voted on and implemented without a proper evaluation of the likely consequences. Not content with that, they now want to leave the ECHR without a proper evaluation of the consequences. FFS!!!!

I find it completely illogical that Farage wants rid of the BBC because 1. they give him a disproportionate amount of air time 2. they don’t challenge him when they do 3. he’s getting free publicity for his crackpot ideas from the world’s most respected media organisation.

Apart from being inhumane this sounds expensive. The people doing the relentless checking could be employed doing something useful. 🫤

IMO the racism of the 1970’s/80’s never went away. The racists just hid it. Now, the likes of Farage, Jenrick, Robinson et al have emboldened them to flaunt it once more.

I think exactly this every day. There was a time a few decades ago, where politicians would tell us that we can’t have everything we want and we will need to wait for some things. Doesn’t happen now.

That's good from someone who IMO has never had a 'proper' job himself. (In my world 'city suit' jobs and journalist are not proper jobs).
