Decided to go a bit overboard and start working on internals. This is a basic setup without any textures or rigging. Those will come in time.

Fixed the shading on the shirt. No idea why the shading setup changed when I didn't do anything with it.

Getting close to a comfortable spot with my model. Rig is a big of a mess and needs some cleanup along with additional features I need to add and bugs to iron out. But mostly everything is nearing completion.

Well, I finally did it. The new gums, teeth, and tongue model are rigged and the body mesh has been tweaked to support them. So now I should have a fully working mouth.
Also, tweaks on the face and head to make it less smooth.

So I redid the textures for the face and body and this is the result with the whole mouth setup. A few more tweaks need to be made before I move on to re-rigging everything again.

And here it is!
After retopologizing and UV unwrapping I was able to move onto texturing and this is the result. My first proper mouth. Though nothing is ever truly finished so I will be making tweaks as I feel are needed.

God damn am I proud of this~

I finished tweaking the gums and added in the tongue. I'll need to retopologize everything before I sculpt details. Not to mention I need to go on the hunt for brushes to get the teeth and tongue textures how I want them.

Yo wakeup! New teef just dropped!

So I wound up separating the gums from the rest of the mouth so I can get more detailed with it. This should also alleviate some rigging issues once it's done. I was also not happy with the teeth I had and decided to try my hand at a dragon-esque teeth setup.

Messing around with textures for my model and trying to come up with something good for the mouth.
The teeth, tongue, and gums are procedural with the rest of the body having the color textures. I'm not entirely happy with the tongue texture but the gums came out well. Teeth pretty basic for now.

Continuing with my animation efforts, I have made a walk cycle. You may also notice the blinking is timed the same as the previous animations which is thanks to Blenders NLA editor.

I tried making the walking seem less robotic but there is still something about it that I'm missing.

So I started messing around with Blenders animation workflow and damn is so stupid. I have never seen something so complex yet so straight forward in my life.
So, here is the result. A simple idle animation of Meowscarada using SirNurbs model.

Been messing around with Blenders Asset Library and figured I'd try my hand at making a window along with using some of the procedural textures I've slowly been creating from tutorials.

So there is still a lot of work to do with the stomach but a very simple way to achieve bulges is by using a sphere and the cast modifier which is what you see here.
Hopefully I can either fine tune the settings or fully rig the stomach how I want.

So I finally finished up the mouth rig and integrated it into my main rig and cleaned everything up. So, what's the first this I should do now that I have an incredible facial rig?

Finally went through and did all the lip control stuff from the tutorial. Pretty happy with the results though there are several areas that need to be adjusted with weight paints.
Going forwards, after I clean this up it's be onto laying the ground for lip syncing.

Well the mouth lock in now a thing so I can adjust if I want the lips to part when I move the jaw. Of course the teeth need some tweaking among other fixes. But for now I figured I'd show this off while I add some more bones and mechanisms.

Turns out the same guy who made the tutorial for the eyelid rig also has a tutorial for the mouth as well. While I haven't fully implemented all the mechanisms in his tutorial I still thought this was good enough to show off.

I am really proud of the deformation at the corners of the mouth.

After ironing out another part of the body I decided to experiment with texturing clothes using Substance Painter. But since I bought the Steam version I don't have access to all the fancy materials that would be included if I subscribed.
Ah well, least the boxers look promising.

Messing around in Blender to make some clothes. The results are pretty basic but I get the feeling a lot of the detail will be in the textures if I move ahead with these.

PS: No bulge cause dick is turned off and I couldn't be bothered to turn it on.

So I decided to start building out my asset library. Figured little by little I could make props which would help me learn some hard surface modeling.
It was also my first experience with the Blender Asset Browser. And after messing around a bit, appending is still the way to go.
