The first time I had heard this song was actually when a ventriloquist did it. I had never heard anything like it before and was blown away - by a cover. The original? Breathtaking. youtu.be/6WahdIES7Gg

I'm following the recommendations after it and finding neat stuff. "Stranger in My House," "Beautiful Life" (Ace of Base!) Good start to the weekend!

LOL, yeah. As Ricky Gervais said, I'd murder and steal as much as I want - which is not at all.

Stage 4A lymphoma in 2020. Six rounds of targeted chemo. Started out at 52 and in the best health of my life. Ended up... Still able to do a 5k and didn't lose a pound or any hair. Modern medicine FTW.

My kids and I would be taking a "homeschooling day" - maybe a zoo and a museum.

The use of quotes is weird. Is he being sarcastic? Does completing chemo allow you to commit unlimited felonies, or is it a sliding scale based on what stage you were?

They'll finally get away with putting it as a question on the census form to drive down responses, but just to "certain" zip codes. ;) They can still gut the state total representative count, but the per-state maps will be WILD. ("Oh. Look. Half of Houston disappeared.")

Anyone who ever says "you're* taking him out of context" forgets that context always makes him sound worse. (Trump's "nuclear uncle" speech.)

I mean, those cases held that police have a "general duty to serve the public," but what does that really boil down to? They have NO expectation to save individuals.

"law enforcement officers must protect the public in an uncertain and dangerous world, not the cold crucible of the courtroom." But hasn't it also been determined - by the Supreme Court - that the police effectively have no such obligation either? (Warren v DC and Castle Rock v Gonzales). 1/

A friend of the family recently had their security clearance removed for a single social media post from the LAST DJT term. Nobody is "safe." Anybody is "next." Fascism needs "enemies," and - like any purity test - eventually everyone is on the outside.

Racists* who rail on about foreign-born medical professionals will find the resulting waiting lists a bigger problem. (I get it; sometimes culture and accent make such interactions difficult. But not getting an appt at all is probably worse!)
