Reminds me a bit of my maternal grandparents' cran-apple-orange relish:
CRAN-APPLE-ORANGE RELISH (Prepare the day before serving, or earlier) 1 pkg. raw cranberries, washed & sorted; 3 red apples, unpeeled, quartered & cored; 1 whole orange, unpeeled, quartered & de-seeded; 1 cup sugar. Grind fruit together in a meat grinder (blender or food processor might work, haven't tried). You're going for a fine granular texture, coarser than puree but finer than chunks, something like couscous or quinoa. Put a cake pan under the grinder to capture juice drippings and pour back in. Stir in 1 cup sugar (more/less to taste). Put in glass or plastic bowl (not ceramic), cover and place in fridge overnight. Can be kept in fridge up to 2 weeks at least.

GAU-8 Look at my Gatling gun. This is the kind of gun they used to put PLANES on. It wasn't a case of, 'Oh, we got this jet fighter, it kinda needs something besides missiles and bombs and shit, let's strap this thing on.' NO. It was a case of a guy making a gun SO awesome, that he just stepped back, and said, 'This shit needs to fly.' And everyone else is like, 'You can't make a gun fly!' And the first guy is all like, 'Fuck you, yes I can. I will strap a PLANE to this GUN.' And everyone is like, 'You mean strap the gun to a plane?' And the first guy is like, 'No, man. The National Guard has now been withdrawn from LA, but...
In one incident that several soldiers said occurred early in the deployment, 60 troops were awaiting transport to planned immigration raids in Ventura County when a Latino soldier approached officers in charge of the mission. He told them that he strongly objected, and he offered to be arrested rather than take part in the operation. Eventually, they said, he was reassigned to administrative tasks. Officers at the military's Northern Command declined to comment about the incident.
