Can she please, please, please somehow come in fifth so that we have a slew of Riley Gaines/Nancy Mace jokes available to us?

(There probably aren't enough candidates, and I'm not going to look to see. I'm just enjoying the idea.)

That's debatable, but it's not Tom's point. It's not a playoff if teams can campaign fir inclusion.

No question. Also, Tom makes a very good point. We don't have a playoff, we have an invitational:

This is the kind of normie, don't rock the boat philosophy that's helped make everything worse.

He's also basically an older Josh in the Season 3 of The Diplomat. Not that I have a problem with that; he saved that season.

Perfection. Thank you.

I agree, except he votes for A LOT of Trump appointees and hasn't done anything I've seen to separate himself from Schumer/Durbin. Right now, his actions make me think he wouldn't be the aggressive reformer/fixer we need in the WH.

My mind is not closed to him. He just needs to show more.

This is your best work.

They don't work for the Senate itself or its norms. they don't work so that the Senate cafeteria is a pleasant space to hang with Rs. They dont work for big donors. They also never, ever treat the Senate like its Surviver and form alliances to hide their votes.

They work for the people. Period.

Primary every Senate Democrat until they understand who they work for.

Cut off all funding for those who voted yes.

I will do everything possible to make sure your primary opponent defeats you. I will donate, I will volunteer. And I will rejoice when you are gone.
November 10, 2025 at 3:23 AM
And that's supposed to invalidate it? This jackwagon never had a plan for the CR in February. He's actually a dumbass.
November 10, 2025 at 3:12 AM
This performative posturing for someone who's up for reelection in 26. Nothing more.
November 10, 2025 at 3:10 AM
That's the exact message I left for Dem Senators.
November 10, 2025 at 2:58 AM
I think its pretty clear that the classic squishes who are up in '26 didn't vote for this just because they're afraid of primaries and were given cover by retirees and those not up till 28 or 30.

They know we're pissed so they're hiding the ball.
November 10, 2025 at 2:14 AM
Go fuck yourself. Retire immediately you waste of space.
November 10, 2025 at 2:09 AM
Nobody up in 26 voted yes. None of the usual squishes; Warner, Coons, Ossoff, Kelly, Gillibrand voted yes. The retirees gave them cover.

Looks like it was specifically planned by Schumer, or there is a large group going against his wishes.

They know we're pissed, so they're hiding the ball.
