Currently my only experiments with the Winnipeg tree data set involved searching and sorting for high diameter trees: winnipeg-trees.netlify.app

But I might try mapping similar to my attached 2018 experiments with single-detached home values and density.
Property values of single detached homes in Winnipeg centered on Lord Roberts / Riverview. Dark blue is sub-$225K. Dark red is $420K+. Density of single detached homes in Winnipeg. Green is less dense. Red is more dense.

Just got back from a trip to Winnipeg in the 70s.

Brought back some souvenirs.
Vintage Manitoban miscellany laid out on a green-and-white checkered tablecloth: a yellow “Think metric!” Manitoba Highways 1977 plastic bag showing speed-limit conversions (50 km/h = 31.1 mph, 90 km/h = 55.9 mph); a Lufkin Ultralok tape measure (3 m / 10 ft, metric/English); a blue plastic MTS (Manitoba Telephone System) window scraper, and a small light-blue notepad with the Manitoba Hydro logo.

And yes, I had a chain on my wallet, a subscription to 2600, was actively war-dialing the 204 area code, and had somehow just gotten the US DoD to send me (in Canada) a full sent of the "Rainbow Books" in the mail.

Thought I was 31337 but was really more script kiddie than anything. ;)

I was 18 years old, had just started Computer Engineering, went by the handle Way-K on IRC, and was in and out of trouble with the uni IT folks for what I called my "independent security research".

Peak 90s movie for me. What a soundtrack!
