But it also fits with everything he's done? Just breaking down the old way of doing things. And I do think that it was semi-obvious that was coming. I just, I don't know if that works from the Xs and Os standpoint, in the same way it works with the business aspect of running the department.

I recognize that vibes and recruiting challenges aren't exactly home run reasons but I'm willing to see Penn State give it a shot?

And I don't think it will be all that easy in getting Sitake's usual stomping grounds to come this far east.

But the game is changing and I don't know how much all of that matters anymore.

Moreover, Sitake has a personality and likes to have fun which is the opposite vibe of Franklin.

The church is a deeply, deeply Republican institution. You can find Democrats here and there, especially once you move away from Utah or go into urban congregations, but its about as Republican as any church or organization in the US, sometimes more than Evangelicals.
How does the church generally lean on politics and what are the main justifications of that position?

A good counter point that was texted to me: would the core of the Polynesian recruits who live on the west coast want to come this far east?

Not that PSU has recruited heavily there but Vega is like one of two players this century from Washington state.

I do think the religious/faith aspect would appeal to a certain subset of the PSU fan base that loves how religious in particular the wrestling team is.
