Le Tout Mississauga is here today. 🙋‍♀️🛍🕶. Sunday Antique Market at Small Arms Inspection Building. The old books and ephemera are quite intriguing but I am an underbuyer with no shelf space.

I have ideas that DID work for me, but mostly I will say, "I hear you."

World Series is best of 7. My local team, Toronto Blue Jays, have won 1 game and the opposing team, the LA Dodgers, have won 2. I looked it up. Do not despair! #IConfessDontWatchSports

I have been enjoying my visit to lovely Denver; I fly home today. "The Honest Eye: Camille Pissarro's Impressionism" at Denver Art Museum 'til Feb 8, 2026, is richly worth your time.

Pissarro, _Peasant Girl with a Straw Hat_, 1881, from NGA Washtn.

I love you, kind Americans! Be strong! 💜🩷

Anyone who has ever listened, repeatedly, to the answering machine message of a recently deceased person, will understand the sentiment.

You've been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who's coming to save you?

Gustave Courbet. A bit too self-absorbed to be my therapist!

No cheating. Your last saved celebrity photo is your therapist. Who is it?

This is the best novel I read recently. Contemporary fiction meets historical fiction meets science fiction.

I try to watch only one CBC News TV cablecast daily, and/or listen to their 6 pm radio news show. I buy newspaper occasionally or read paper at public library.

But then ppl refer to news stories here on Bsky....I look up a lot of politicians on Wikipedia!

So good to know this. I am not doing this volunteer work at present, but I found it rewarding. The people inside the system are often remarkable individuals. My husband's cousin Ann Walmsley has written eloquently about volunteering in a prison book club in Canada.

I saw a very enjoyable movie tonight... in Oakville! "Materialists" stars Dakota Johnson as a professional matchmaker who has two suitors: a rich man and a poor man. And if that sounds like Jane Austen... well yes, I think that was the idea.
