Just to expand briefly, and more specialised colleagues may have a better grasp of this, people with MNPD are more likely to be unfeeling with regard to others, unable to value any other view than their own, and in consequence they're often cruel and sadistic. These are reasons not excuses.

You're right, he isn't. This isn't about mental health. There's abundant evidence that he's a malignant narcissist but personality disorders aren't classified as illness. This is because, for the most part, mental illness is debilitating and distressing to the individual and PD isn't.
