I have achieved peak UVs in Blender, the Area View Debug is almost a LGBT flag.

Finally managed to get Custom Object Normal to affect lighting AND tangent space normal with custom packing to work together! Will try to do a proper thread later with the stuff I did and the resuls in case anyone is interested ! Now time to really craft the look of it all !

Just downloaded Unreal 5.6 to test the new version !! Apparently creating a new EMPTY level crash the engine ... EVERY SINGLE TIME !

Might stick to Blender for video stuff 'cause damn ...

Apropos of nothing, my advice for aspiring gamedevs:
-you get better at making games by making games
-most game schools are a scam, but they're good at getting you in touch with other gamedevs
-most of the people you can learn from have already left, but some of them left books/blogposts behind

This is some really cool stuff, Epic has been working on a new RayTraced Translucency on UE5-Main that uses Hit Lighting for reflections and refraction, as well as working with DOF!! Its super early but its shaping up well.
