We eat dinner at 5:00 if we’re at home. If we’re going out we’ll maybe do 5:30 and get annoyed at anything later than that.

I knew people downloaded and paid for the app, but it’s so freaking cool and satisfying to know they actually use it and use such a new feature. Just knowing there is someone, right now, in Chiba, Japan watching a tennis match and using my app to score it is wild.

Even with that said though, it won’t take off, well, never honestly, but until the whole picking a server thing is made completely opaque and someone can just pick a username and that be it

Mastodon is, of course, very nerd driven but I don’t think it's nearly as hard as some make it out to be. The iOS app Ivory has a great onboarding experience that takes away most pain points. And Threads is based, at some level, on the same Activity Pub protocolMastodon uses.
