Valve has always been in a strange but still somehow dominant position. They likely don’t need to move those types of numbers to be profitable or be a threat in the market place. The pitch here kinda feels like “buy your last game console"

It can do emulation like crazy too. And the amount of indies I’ve bought on Switch for the portability, only for them to run poorly or be glitchy or have joycon drift… best to just buy on Steam and be done with it.
