Tony Blair’s new report contains nothing new. Calling for a green energy slow down to keep bills down is perfectly wrongheaded. Our bills are high because we let the global price of gas set the price we pay for our own wind and sun.

The people who run the party were good at one thing: smashing the left.

The problem with "balancing the books" is that with every cut in spending you make you are taking money out of the economy and shrinking tax receipts leading to more cuts, more shrinking tax receipts and so on.
