Good morning!

What inauguration? 😇😏

Time for a reset; not game over.

I think that's true of most high-priced drugs. I think negotiating with the drug companies to get the expensive drugs to a point where people can afford them is a huge battle. I hope Mr. Cuban at least attempts to make that happen.

No Ozempic or Wegovy; just checked.
January 12, 2025 at 7:38 PM
Rybelsus, no. I'd have to check on the other two but I'm guessing not
January 12, 2025 at 7:23 PM
Yeah. I'm a big Mark Cuban fan, and I checked... Amazon doesn't have it either (and I wouldn't trust Amazon to deliver my prescriptions)

The whole healthcare ecosystem in the US is fucked, including insurance. ACA was a step in the right direction but it isn't enough.

but Ozempic is impossible to get due to its popularity as a weight-loss drug. And Rybelsus comes in a dosage that works perfectly for me, so I wouldn't switch, anyhow.
January 12, 2025 at 7:19 PM
They do. It's semaglutide. Wegovy, Ozempic and Rybelsus are all semaglutide, all sold by the same pharma company (Novo Nordisk). I am not sure about Wegovy, but Ozempic is a weekly injection that was FDA-approved to treate T2 diabetes before being approved for weight loss.
January 12, 2025 at 7:18 PM
Rybelsus. It's semaglutide, the same drug as Ozempic (which was originally approved by the FDA to treat type 2 diabetes) and Wegovy, but in pill form. It presumably is patented, and since the patent has not expired yet... no generic equivalents.

It's worked wonders for me.

So what do you suggest? My relatively new diabetes drug is $900/month if I pay cash, and if the ACA is eliminated, I’m screwed.

The fact that Joanne is a TERF, a horrible person and a complete asshole has been public knowledge for a while now. This is disgusting, but it isn’t news.
