Good morning CQ and all. Cracking day yesterday topped off with some fab cooking at Cloth (Farringdon). Crab on confit potato and partridge starred. Could have eaten a dozen of those confit potatoes…
I’d better get out there and walk the calories off. Have a corking weekend when you get to it.

Morning Kate and all. Got mugged in the park this weekend…

Good morning Caroline and all. We had our quietest day on the market since early Feb, yesterday. At least it gave us the chance to bring out the Xmas beers, always a welcome sight on our shelves. The day was saved by an evening of great food, excellent beers and daft chat.

It’s been a while… but I’ve made a lasagna.

Good morning all. The Vietnamese cafe was a great success yesterday. Family run, all the super fresh food was cooked with real care. Hope you all find something as delicious this weekend and enjoy it as much as this lass enjoyed her elevenses yesterday. Oh, have a corking weekend when you get to it.

Morning all. It’s going to be a busy day, but first I’m off out to see these guys.

This year’s green hop season has been brilliant. Two of the best are pouring at @thegreengoddesspub.bsky.social today. @kernelbrewery.bsky.social Wet Hop Bitter, all complex malts, sticky hop oils, then @elusivebrewing.com Green Hopper, crisp, fragrant, a lovely twist of bitterness on the finish.

Good morning all. To help you get into the spirit for Halloween, here’s the haunted house I pass on my morning walk…. Prepare to be terrified.

Have a corking weekend when you get to it.

Morning Caroline and all. Looks like a grey, drizzly day on the market but we’ve got a ton of beer arriving, including the first of the Xmas beers. Wrangling that will keep us busy. We may be closing after sunset now but the market twinkles in the dark
and makes up for that.

Morning all. Trust you had a good weekend.
Here’s a happy vixen munching a snack, to help you get your week off to a good start.
October 27, 2025 at 6:54 AM
Good morning all. Is it Monday already? Am thrown by having worked a Saturday shift at the market.

To help you start the week well, here’s a clip of one of our park buddies… There’s nothing as satisfying as a good scratch.

Good morning Guy and all. Am back on the market today after what seems like a long break. I wonder what I’ve missed? But first am off out to feed the birds… it’s seems I’m forgiven for going away.

Good morning all. I’ve nearly packed the car (and I’ve even remembered log out of the TV apps this time). Now for some breakfast before saying goodbye to this view until next year. Have a corking weekend, when you get to it.

Morning all. Went for a beautiful walk along the south west coastal path yesterday. Seals and firecrests were spotted. Might do something similar today…
October 8, 2025 at 6:49 AM
Morning all. Still on holiday and have turned off the alarm for the week. Took conclusive video evidence of the beast of the Dart yesterday evening… chilling!
October 6, 2025 at 7:09 AM
First pint of the holiday. A fine Tinhead by Three Daggers at The Bradley Hare. Softly malty, a whisper of orangey hop… decent.
September 25, 2025 at 3:45 PM
The park breakfast buffet was busy.
September 24, 2025 at 7:37 AM
Good morning all. I’m expecting another busy day on the market, plus we’ve got a ton of beer being delivered… who needs a gymn membership? Here’s a brief clip of yesterday’s park breakfast buffet to help start your day right.
September 23, 2025 at 5:47 AM
Morning! It’s a nice dry start to what is expected to be a showery day. I’m off to the market shortly, but first it’s time for the human breakfast buffet to open for the great tits and robins of Greenwich park.

Pinch punch! Lovely weekend…am not a great fan of Sunday lunch roasts (ducks for cover) but had an exceptional one yesterday. Today there’s a bit of admin to sort and we will pop round to see Mum and step father. Have a good week all.
September 1, 2025 at 6:03 AM
Phenomenal pint of Level Up on cask by @elusivebrewing.com at the genius @thegreengoddesspub.bsky.social all scents of sticky malty goodness, floral and citrus top notes. Delicious bitterness.
August 30, 2025 at 2:48 PM
Good morning all. Had a wander around the Courtauld gallery yesterday and was surprised to spot bottles of Bass beer on the bar far left in Manet’s “A bar at the Folies-Bergère”. Seems so mundane in all that glamour… Have a corking weekend when you get to it.
August 29, 2025 at 6:01 AM
Morning all. It was a solid day on the market yesterday which also gave enough time for me to sort the cellar out. The new Singaporean restaurant was good… I do love a laksa. I’d better go for a longer walk this morning to walk it off. Have a good Thursday.
August 28, 2025 at 5:59 AM
Morning all! Looks like a beautiful start to the weekend. We are shifting to the coast today for a change of scene then back home over the weekend. Here are some ripening pinot gris grapes for your viewing pleasure. Have a corking weekend when you get to it.
