I write poetry to feed my soul. I live in Oceanside California with the love of my life. We have been together since we met in 1971 at the age of 19. We hold hands when we walk on the beach and through our neighborhood.

It seems difficult for many to believe that 77 million people chose this. I wrote this to express my anger and grief. Acceptance of the problem, facing the reality is the beginning of resistance.

My Grandparents came to the U.S. in 1905. My grandmother was born in Mlawa, my grandfather in Warsaw. Thanks for beautiful flowers, they bring them to mind.

“The last time I wrote was for my mother’s funeral” sounds like a good beginning line. I did not start writing until I was 37. I go through times that it is hard to write but I think it has to do with I am trying to say. Here’s another poem I wrote about that.
