I used to just post about safe streets, but there's a lot going on right now. I'm worried about the climate, growing fascism, injustice, and my friends in Palestine. Also will be giving my observations of the US after living in Greece for 10 months.
Still in love with the speed bumps on Morrison - they give me the confidence to let my 8-year old go to his friends’ houses by himself.

Throwback pic of installation day, with my daughter who is now 4!

Thank you so much for your leadership on this issue. Sorry I was a call when I saw at the park, I would have said this in person too!

Ohh, how Robert Moses destroyed American cities. Women's suffrage. The AIDS epidemic would be an important story about who gets left out of risk management.

"This era has seen a surge in belief in conspiracy theories, including about Mr. Epstein, because of an underlying intuition people have that is, in fact, correct: The country often seems to be run not for the benefit of most of us."

"These ppl are on the same team...Some in the network profess anguish over what others in the network are doing. But the emails depict a group whose highest commitment is to their own permanence in the class that decides things. When principles conflict with staying in the network, the network wins.

"the emails lay bare [a[ highly private merito-aristocracy at the intersection of gov't and business [and more] tak[ing] care of its own more than the common good. They are right to resent [] infinite 2nd chances for members of this group even as so many Americans are deprived of 1st chances."
