This is a comment on a Reddit thread about a growing petition to stop the new gas tax.

On one hand, I understand they feel like they're not getting anything from their money, but on the other hand, it's a little over $.10/mile in cost that I'm sure they build into their own rates.

And lots more #AvGeek fun, too.

This person stopped about five cars back from a red light in the middle of the bike lane to look at their phone.

Before stopping they had been swirving in and out of the bike lane for about a half mile. Broadway just west of 21st.

Maybe I just having buying enough cameras but the Sony RX1R III being $5k is similar to what I paid for Canon's 5D Mark IV back when it was new, even adjusting for inflation.

Is the Sony price just markup? Demand? Or greed?

My son Seamus died 15 years ago today. He was killed by a careless driver in a crosswalk.

He walked at 9 months, almost as if he knew he wouldn’t have much time. His favorite thing to do was throw rocks into water. He loved the moon. He called butterflies “buddy buddies.” I miss him every day.

It should be noted the crosswind runway was closed for chunks of the terminal construction so that contributes to the low utilization stats.
if you want to see what PDX has up its sleeve for growth and you haven't yet participated in the online open house and community survey, you have until next Friday to learn more and leave your input:
