The deceased has been identified as Timothy Lee Pyles, 38. Paragould Emergency Services received a 911 call at approximately 5:46 p.m.

Wesley Lorel Pryor, 40, is charged with second-degree domestic battering with injury and first-degree false imprisonment, both Class C felonies. He also faces a misdemeanor resisting arrest charge. Pryor first appeared Monday before District Judge Tommy Fowler, where he had an outburst during video court and was removed for a mental-health screening.
