PARAGOULD, Ark. — Paragould police have identified the man found dead inside a home on Thanksgiving, saying the case appears to stem from a domestic altercation between family members, according to new information released Friday by Police Chief Chad Henson. The deceased has been identified as Timothy Lee Pyles, 38. Paragould Emergency Services received a 911 call at approximately 5:46 p.m.

JONESBORO, Ark. — A Jonesboro suspect is facing felony charges after police say he locked a woman in a room and caused injuries that left her with multiple broken bones. Wesley Lorel Pryor, 40, is charged with second-degree domestic battering with injury and first-degree false imprisonment, both Class C felonies. He also faces a misdemeanor resisting arrest charge. Pryor first appeared Monday before District Judge Tommy Fowler, where he had an outburst during video court and was removed for a mental-health screening.

JONESBORO — A 27-year-old woman who previously reported that an infant had been left outside for about 30 minutes is now accused of lying to police, according to a newly filed probable cause affidavit. Lyrica Maisha Noble, 27, is charged with filing a false report with a law enforcement agency, a Class D felony. Judge David Boling set her bail at $15,000 cash or surety.

JONESBORO, Ark. — A man is accused of leading law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit on Nov. 17 that began in Lawrence County and ended with a crash off an Interstate 555 exit ramp, according to an Arkansas State Police incident report. Cpl. Jeffrey Irvin said he was notified by Troop C dispatch that the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office was pursuing a black Ford Mustang traveling south on U.S.

BLYTHEVILLE — Police say a series of break-ins across several Blytheville neighborhoods this month has led to multiple arrests, including two adults and four juveniles, according to information released by the Blytheville Police Department. Investigators said reports of homes and vehicles being broken into began arriving around Nov. 3. On Nov. 9, officers responded to another residential break-in where multiple guns were reported stolen.

MARKED TREE — A Texas-based structural steel fabrication company has purchased 70 acres in Marked Tree with plans to develop its first Arkansas operation, according to a release from Basden Steel. The company, founded in 1985 and headquartered in Texas, closed on the property Nov. 21. The land, located just off Exit 13 on Interstate 555, was purchased from Rittwood Farms.

PARAGOULD — A camper trailer caught fire early Wednesday morning in Greene County, leaving one person with burn injuries who was later airlifted for medical treatment, according to Sheriff Brad Snyder. The fire was reported at approximately 5:55 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 141 South and County Road 755. Paragould Emergency Services, deputies from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, the Western Greene County Fire Department, AMMC Ambulance Service, and Survival Flight all responded.

JONESBORO — A 21-year-old man is accused of forcing his way into a woman’s private bedroom inside an Arkansas State University residence hall and assaulting her during a late-night disturbance, according to a probable-cause affidavit from A-State police. Officers were dispatched around 11:15 p.m. on Nov. 19 to a residence hall on the A-State campus for a reported domestic disturbance. The alleged victim told officers that Christian Raylangdon Horner, 21, forced his way into her bedroom and began a physical altercation with her.

JONESBORO, Ark. — A 20-year-old patient was arrested after police say he assaulted a medical staff member during a routine morning blood draw at St. Bernards Behavioral Health, according to a probable-cause affidavit. Officers responded around 5:46 a.m. on Nov. 22 after a nurse reported she had been attacked while entering Raul Gonzalez’s room to perform a standard blood draw. Gonzalez told staff he was too weak to stand, and a roommate helped him to his feet.

JONESBORO, Ark. — A 20-year-old man is accused of selling a Jeep he did not legally own and forging paperwork to make the sale appear legitimate, according to a probable-cause affidavit from the Jonesboro Police Department. The investigation began Nov. 17 after an alleged victim reported their 2016 Jeep Renegade stolen. The video showed the Jeep being towed by Landrie’s Towing and Recovery.

JONESBORO, Ark. — Officers arrested a 36-year-old male after responding to a welfare call where a woman was found crying, trembling, and reporting death threats, according to a probable-cause affidavit. On Nov. 23, officers arrived at a residence after a caller reported hearing screaming next door. The first officer wrote that he could hear yelling from outside as he walked up and saw a broken table in the front yard.

JONESBORO, Ark. — A 22-year-old man is accused of shooting another man in the abdomen during a weekend fight inside a Craighead County residence. According to the probable-cause affidavit, deputies were called at about 2:37 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23, to a home on Craighead 712 Road regarding a shooting. Investigators wrote that an argument began in Jonesboro between Michael Treat and the alleged victim, reportedly over Treat leaving the victim at the Brickhouse.

According to the probable-cause affidavit, officers were dispatched on Nov. 21 to a residence in the 300 block of Garden Manor. When officers arrived, they saw through a window that a couple inside appeared to be in an active physical altercation.

PARAGOULD, Ark. — A woman was taken into custody after police say she intentionally hit her husband with a vehicle at a busy Paragould intersection before fleeing. According to the probable-cause narrative, officers were dispatched Nov. 21 to the intersection of Highway 49 North and Country Club Road for a vehicle-versus-pedestrian call. The alleged victim told officers that his wife, identified as potential defendant Felisha Woodson, had purposely struck him with her vehicle before leaving the scene.

PARAGOULD, Ark. — A male was arrested after officers responded to a reported domestic altercation Sunday, where a pregnant alleged victim told police her husband assaulted her. According to the probable-cause narrative, officers were dispatched on Nov. 23 to a residence in Paragould. The alleged victim told officers she had been in a verbal altercation with her husband, identified as potential defendant Klayton Adcock.

WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — A driver who hit speeds of more than 140 mph on Interstate 40 fled an Arkansas State Police trooper before abandoning the vehicle in Memphis, according to an ASP narrative. On Oct. 17, 2025, Trooper Gunner Fultz reported he was stationary near the 283-mile marker on I-40 when he saw a black Dodge Charger traveling “at a high rate of speed.” Fultz confirmed using rear-facing radar that the driver was going 90 mph in a 65-mph zone.

ST. FRANCIS COUNTY, Ark. — A 30-year-old Connecticut man faces multiple charges after Arkansas State Police said he fled a traffic stop on Interstate 40, struck several highway signs, and crashed while trying to reenter the interstate. According to a probable cause affidavit, the incident happened around 7:34 p.m. on Oct. 26 when Trooper Steven Plyler saw a Chrysler PT Cruiser traveling westbound on I-40 near the 252-mile marker.
