They are running the government according to the logic of right-wing grievance media. I cannot emphasize that enough. The point is to create content, and they don't see an actual difference between dunking on Sabrina Carpenter, passing legislation, and bombing other countries.
I don't really know what the administration hopes to gain by picking fights with the most well-liked pop artists in the United States. You're just generating backlash for no discernible reason outside of owning the libs.

Guess trump doesn't want American blacks to be able to enjoy our national parks. Biggest reason behind it is he does not feel MLK or black Americans should deserve a holiday for their sacrifices. It is beyond racism. He would deport every black American if he could.

It's not even a new idea. Ru has had this aim since Soviet days. Even Yeltsin assumed the US decided Europe's fate alone and told Clinton he wanted Ru in on it. Now Trump's obsession w a Ru-American reset gives them hope the US will finally share and let Ru dominate a chunk of Europe.
