before you capture and corrupt your first angel, you should know it's a serious commitment- not only will they need a replacement for severed divinity, you'll also have to keep breaking them every so often or they'll go feral, which can really hurt the local ecosystem

personally i think of the emergence of multiple snake goddesses independently at around the same time as a sort of 4x game situation. i think my start location was pretty favorable, but admittedly my unique ability takes a while to come online

it keeps happening, i currently have very evil plans with 5 different people within just the next month, and I'm going to have to turn down 2 more just bc my schedule is full. absurd situation to be in, for me at least

That's actually the thing I really like about mechasploitation - it's new, and it emerged very rapidly in certain circles, and, also, everyone owes Isabella Fall a bunch of money
mecha particularly seems to suffer from this, at least amongst western fans. people are really drawn to the idea that a 50+ year old genre spanning multiple eras/tones/subgenres creators must mean One Specific Thing and have One Specific Correct Way of doing it
