I pretty much stick with Michelins now. The last set I had on my car got almost 80k miles before they wore under 4/32nds. Have had ~7 sets over the yrs on multiple vehicles & gotten through the mileage warranty mark w/o issue (other than flats from nails, etc, which DT's replacement certs handled).

I put CrossClimates on our Odyssey 3 yrs ago. Maybe overkill for OK, but we take multiweek trips to MN every winter. They've been great tires, even if a bit loud. They've worn very well too, as Michelins tend to do IME; we'll get >60k miles out of the set, which is good. Will replace with same.

This was that same tornado a little later than that pic. As a new chaser at the time watching my 1st tor, I was quite confused by the structure of the tornado/storm, but I'm glad it was unique. I don't think it even had much of an anvil at this time - def look like cumulonimbus calvus IIRC.

OK, this is totally inconsequential, but that second image (which was actually the first tornado) should be this one (which is still potato quality, but not quite as bad!). Had to explain to my oldest that this was the best that 8 mm camcorders could do...

I'm pretty sure I've digitized it, but I can't find it. I have some video stills from it, though that's not what you're asking. I pulled my site down yrs ago, but here's a Wayback Machine view: web.archive.org/web/20130607... . It didn't archive the specific page for the 8/9/1999. I'll keep looking!

It's wild to me how anyone ends up with more than one child, and I say this as a parent of multiple children 😆 The first year can be so, so, *so* hard, but biology be like "this has been fun, you should do it again!" It stresses the marriage/parents' relationship too, which seems less talked about.

He's talked many times about how the presdnt can classify/declassify for any reason at any time. Isn't the hangup that docs that implicate ally get classified, those that implicate/show a non-ally's involvement gets released? The sudden 180 deg flip is obviously suspicious.
