Another aspect of this report is that Canadian Services exports have seen an increase. This shows that foreign markets have confidence in Canadian expertise in providing services in specialized global industries beyond Canada being considered just for manufacturing and resources.

Imports being down shows, Canadians are consuming local goods more than imports. The 'Buy Canadian' movement seems to be paying dividends as it's reducing our reliance on imports and choosing local goods.

And that's it. This pipeline will never be built, because she is not going to get private investors or BC and the FN onboard.. But at least it will get her to to shut up about pipelines now. Who knows she might not even be in power (here to hoping) by the time anything happens.

Until this pipeline is built, it's not actually built. And Smith has to get stuff done to even move the needle.

The initial reaction I had for this MOU was disappointment. But reading more shows the PM has put all the chips in Smith's corner with a pipeline dangling over her. Now she can't blame the Liberal govt for her inaction in climate action in her province. Will see how this plays out.
