nice, deep down
The President can fire the AG at will, but he has no *influence* over him. That would be preposterous, utterly improper. An affront to the decency of our politics.

Y'all remember when Bush was President for 20 years?
Yes, voting for Ralph Nader was really smart, says Bush & his 20 year war.

This is a variant of Argument through Exhaustion that debate kid democrats love to use. Quick, give me a detailed plan of how we would replace every element of the supply chain before you note American company Apple's complicity in slavery.
“We could just make fewer phones” who is we? How? Should a percentage of the population just not be allowed to participate in the economy? What mechanism would we use to stop companies from making phones? How would this get us to the billions of tons of cobalt needed to electrify modern economies?

It takes four years from commission of a crime to arrest and prosecution, everyone knows this, idiot (child)!
The AG, who still had to be nominated and confirmed. Then you gather evidence followed by a prosecution if the facts warrant it.

It's too bad Joe Biden could not be trusted to prosecute crimes committed by the political class. This is why we're not alarmed by the shrieks that Democracy is Over. We know.
Enjoy Trump.

Hundreds of dollars of public money every month going to some useless executive's fiftieth house in my name? No thanks.

Guy wants to choose where I place my goalposts. I'm supposed to be inspired to vote because you yelled at me that some randos elsewhere are doing really great? Also, it's bullshit and we all know it. Uncle Dude here clearly hasn't tried to use a Bronze plan.

Cult.
Democrats, including those in the Biden Administration, are the only reason that 97% of the Palestinians in Gaza are still alive.

One of the ways you suppress criticism of a figure is you flood the zone with other, milder, criticisms. Nobody hates Genocide Joe for having a stutter. The fact that he's a zombie is like the eighth thing down the list of things we hate about him.

The unemployment rate is a combination of workers falling out the back end or being shunted to precarious gig positions and a bunch of subminimum migrant farmworker jobs being created for the people we're forcing to crawl through barbed wire (they'll take worse treatment to avoid doing it again).

It's HARD to be management in tech. Because there are two versions of company goals: the fake version for employees; and the real one for investors ("grow quick, exit fast, give investors 7x who cares what happens after")

When fake values collide with the real, managers have to do the dirty work.

The fundamental divide right now is there's a group of people who believe if your reasoning isn't grounded in some kind of moral principle then its conclusions aren't worth much vs nah, that's not true

I've seen friends thrown in jail for months on the flimsiest pretexts, cars stolen, lives wrecked. Biden reminding us that he had four years to deal with the problem and just.. didn't, so that he could campaign against it, instead, would not go over well with those of us who think.

Biden talking about shrinkflation pisses me off because it's been terrible under him, and that's because corporations know they won't face any sanction for doing it. Price controls? Investigations? Legislation? lol yeah fucking right

John Fetterman has betrayed his constituency and must be primaried. It's time we had a change agent in that seat, a firebrand, a real Kirsten Sinema or John Fetterman

Heard somebody called a "rape denialist" which would be an effective insult if rape fabricators didn't exist. "Believe women" somehow turned into believe the IDF about some women they imagined, that, no, you can't see or talk to them.

Watching my friends get hauled off to jail for months, their cars stolen, for nothing, but I gotta hear how it takes four years and one day to prosecute major felonies committed on national television.
