I like that about them hahaha, have you ever tried a fountain pen? They're a lil more slippery against the paper but it still lets you play around with loose ink, and if you get a flexier nib it can get even closer to a dip pen look! I think it's a good compromise.

Way after I’d started it. I’m trying to figure out my relationship with art as I do it, and a big part of that is embracing it for what it is instead of death gripping it out of perfectionism. The art and story is kind of all over the place but I’m having a lot of fun and that’s what matters :)
