Story time. One of the first real friends I made was a girl who had been SA'd by her brother. She early in our knowing each other was attempting to end her own life. I simply didn't leave leave her alone, I didn't try and explain away her pain, or convince her life was worth living, I just stayed.

I don't have a single picture of myself from before starting my transition. I actively avoided all photos, My parents only have one or two photos of me. Even then those are group shots or real little pictures. Kinda wish I did, my transition timeline would be a lot cooler with an older selfie.
