It has been quite a time since Thursday. The thrill of the stage. A sudden barrage of slightly frightening calls from the hospital. A weird low fibre diet. A litre of laxatives. Fasting. And the the proceedure.

But good news in the end, and the NHS team were simply brilliant!

But I want really detailled enemy popcorn explosions that scatter the screen with little fragments that look exactly like the bullets of both my own ship, and said enemy! :)

(I'm a bit late to share this one, but I got a call about needing an urgent colonoscopy not too long after leaving the stage, went home, had the probing, got the all clear(!), and then took a while to recover from the woozy sedation. And here I am!)

Would dream of something with the Neo Geo Pocket Color’s micro switched thumbstick!

I’m all about modding arcade sticks to my shmup needs. Love to pull ‘em apart and switch things around. Love a fancy stick. And yet I’ve never upgraded my Joycons. Time to change that!

Ooh: I’m a shmup devotee, and have Flipped Gripped since launch. But still on stock Joycons. What do you roll with for shmups?

Yeah. I’d be a lot more understanding if the games I bought weren’t marked ‘in stock’. I hope they turn it around. I’m still very willing to receive my games!

Hmmm. I ordered Rival Megagun, Natsuki Chronicles, and Ginga Force. All apparently in stock. I wonder if one of the Qute games is holding things up?
