My solar panels paid for themselves within 4 years. I had no electricity bill whatsoever for 2 years (assisted- admittedly -by the 'cost of living' credit). That includes my heating as I have a heat pump. My last bill was in credit €20, thanks to micro generation payment. No-brainer, if you can.

Great article. Less spoken about is the privatisation of Disability and Mental Health Services. We are sleep-walking our way into similar issues in other care areas. Care should be the over-riding principle of care services, not profit. Profit skews care.

Great read; this is both a fascinating and challenging article. While Social Work is quite different over here in Ireland, there are (unfortunately) definitely some similarities. Lots of food for thought here.
