The refraction of the atmosphere cause by our high altitude made the sun appear 50 times larger than normal. Pictures don't do it justice. This was the first time I'd seen the phenomenon. Look at the size of the ridge compared to the size of the sun! I can't tell you just how big it was!

Slept on top of Mt Scott and it was kinda miserable up there. But we made it! Got to see the most spectacular sunset and sunrise!
