✨ bad ✨ mental health day today so I took myself out to go and have a gander at this American Wigeon at the latest location on his North Norfolk coast tour. He tried his best to fit in but stuck out like a sore thumb 🤕 #norfolkbirds

Thrilled to see one of these yesterday in Thailand. The critically endangered Spoon-billed Sandpiper. I’m unfortunately not here for birding but managed to get out for one day! #birdingthailand #birding #birdsofthailand

Last night I was thinking about the grey wag I saw from my house last year and decided it was probably actually a pied wag that I’d wrongly ID’d since there’s no water near me, but lo and behold, (after checking the date)

Dipped Glaucous Gull this afternoon at Old Hunstanton but the ridiculously confiding Shore Lark were a suitable compromise. Also both LWFG (not pictured) and GWFG at Snettisham. #norfolkbirds
