Prosecute and imprison ICE participants, then abolish the agency right along with CBP. All off DHS can be dismantled. Remove the DOJ from under the purview of the executive and make it a 4th branch of government with judicial, congressional and civilian oversight.

There are many who sincerely believe that empathy is a mental disorder and any display of it constitutes "weakness".
Now the etymology of this emergent fear of "weakness" is certainly a subject worth studying. I suspect much of it, as in many instances, comes down to insecurities.

Interesting factoid. In the original released in 1964, Santa never goes to pick up the misfit toys to deliver them as presents. It was only after a massive letter writing campaign that NBC ordered a new scene to be added and by 1965 that version had Santa rescuing the toys from the the island.
