I regret getting into Pokémon NOW when I could've done so when I was much much younger. And when these games were cheaper in the secondhand market.

I know the most efficient way is to solder a new battery. But I don't know how to do that and fear I would mess it up.

Almost ALL of the Gen 3-4 Pokémon games are a steep price right now.
Especially Pokémon Emerald. Like, my god...that game is SO expensive on the secondhand market.
I did find one on display at my local retro shop for like $130-150, but I think it has a dry battery.

This was off of eBay listed for $125, not including tax and shipping however. Which was like an extra $18 combined.
And it is genuine, too. The sticker is correct, has the indentations on it. And the motherboard is authentic.

Funny enough I found a copy of Gale of Darkness at my local store a few hours ago for $129.
The game is coming to NSO soon, so I saw very little reason to get it outside of collection purposes.
