I liked Him more than i expected, Naked Gun was funny, I watched Planes Trains and Automobiles for the first time in theater, and the John Candy documentary made me sad.

My contribution to Thanksgiving is chocolate chip cookies (which I have perfected imo, and can’t show up to family events without them now), and sugar cookies which I’ve made for the first time today but taste (and look) pretty good!

So like, 3/4 of this movie looks like it was made from screensavers and also features, in my opinion, one of the worst wigs in film history.

I started reading Flesh by David Szalay last week, and I’m about halfway through. It just won the Booker Prize so I’ve seen what I think is the UK cover in a lot of articles about it, and I gotta say, I like the cover of the one I’m reading a lot better.

I watched Clearcut (1991) today, and I’m so glad that I did. It’s such a great expression of the type of anger that often makes people uncomfortable. The kind society has conditioned us to believe it’s wrong to express.
