My November book wrap-up! I had a great November in books.

I had to choose a historical fiction book to read in 4th (6th?) grade, and I reeeeally didn't want to, but I chose this one, and maybe it's a great book, I have no idea, but at the time I just hated it and resented having to read a genre I hated and this book solidified my dislike of the genre.

Fine fine fine, I fixed it and pulled back on the top layers to make it less muted
Full alt text in below image. Changes are: I added light and shadow to the red and green lights, the lights, and the bright candy spirals (I may have forgotten to mention them in the first alt text? They're just behind the pinball hole and only on the upper half of the canvas and they look like old timey hard candy). I also fixed the ducks, they were supposed to be on water, not the roof of a house. Slightly less whimsical, but still enjoyable

I also used this as a practice prompt to keep trying things out in procreate, so the final version took me more than 5 minutes (mostly because of fighting with the snap to shape tool) but I've included the version from @ 5 minutes also lol

Gawky birds (a muppet species) fanart, my first non-tutorial piece on procreate, and I'm really, really proud of it
Three colorful birds with long legs and long beaks on a textured background. They're inspecting a ringing rotary phone. Each bird has a circular, feathery body and a slightly smaller head in the same vein but a different color. They all have thin curly tails kind of like monkeys? One bird is orange and yellow with green feathers as a silly creat on its head, one is purple and magenta with purple head feathers and the last is red and pink with red head feathers. The purple bird seems more concerned about the ringing phone and the other two seem more curious. The center of the phone has a 12 on it.
