💯. And that is still the dominant part of the electorate not just in numeric terms but in political significance in terms of being seen as “real” Americans 🤦‍♂️

It just occurred to me what’s troubling - it seems to me that Konaté is actually regressing rather than progressing as one would expect as a CB enters his prime years. His physicality was always a big asset but it masks that poor decision making at times

Yeah I think so but also unlucky. Like I said we make about 5-6 chances to score one but our opponents usually have a much higher conversion percentage

Tbh replacing the CBs is our next priority

We’re so fragile defensively at the moment. It’s unlucky to some extent that opponents seem to score whenever they get a chance

I think we have to go back to the Palace game for me to remember what it was like for opponents to keep missing chances

I dunno why you are blaming Slot for that lol

Honestly he makes too many individual errors IMO

Really rash 😔

You can’t without offending lotsa white guys 🤷‍♂️

I get the OP’s point but look at the litany of destruction the GOP has wrought (Iraq war, financial crisis, Covid, the blatant corruption, racism and ineptness of orange turd) and they still get re-elected from time to time and are always in touching distance of power. Why would they want to change?

Tbh it says a lot about America

A fact of life in the EPL 🤣

Which is why I half wished we signed someone quintessentially ‘English’ like Gordon just to buy more fouls from referees 😎
December 3, 2025 at 10:28 PM
Yeah that’s my take too. Thought some players didn’t play well but it wasn’t catastrophic, we were fairly in control despite the goal, though obviously one can nitpick that we didn’t create enough against a low block
December 3, 2025 at 10:25 PM
Ref wouldn’t have given us anything, I suspect. Salah was fouled conspicuously several times as usual and got nothing, which probably inhibited him from deciding to take riskier dribbles
December 3, 2025 at 10:22 PM
Yeah not sure what’s the point of continuing him on set pieces when it’s been the case all game. Better to leave it to Wirtz or even Jones?

But I guess tactically once you are set during the game it’s hard to adjust, coz then player positioning might have to change and it could lead to slipups
December 3, 2025 at 10:17 PM
That is kinda true but I also think that is the general direction the league is heading. Quality has gone down IMO
