A lot of things already support 64-bit timestamps. We have ~12 years to roll this out everywhere.

I've worked with "generational talents" from places like IAS, but were somehow NOT complete assholes. The odd thing about them is that they produced more cool results.

When assholery limits one's collaborators to fanboys, one doesn't work with as many other talented people, and results suffer.
