After a bit of tinkering, I've come up with at at least a temporary solution to the building obstruction issue. A button to toggle transparency of cells directly below the player.

I think I'll select by size, as chests and the like aren't obstructive.

Got most of the new imports done. Some of the more complex buildings like the Bazaar will require additional work due to being procedurally generated.

Still need to improve player visibility behind objects.

Starting to get the buildings imported and placeable. I am aware the the player can't be seen behind the building. (and that other buildings can't be seen behind buildings.) I have a solution for this already.

Here Casino parts are rearranged.

Sorry, no update on Cosmic Construct just yet, but I do have an update for work on the dungeon tile set. A massive number of tiles are being recreated in digital art based on work from various creators, and will be made freely available on itch.io soon.

Working on the Guild Hall right now. I after I get a bit of that done, I'll post a devlog sometime overnight. (I really need to get on that.)

The Guild Hall will apply half the player's skill level to pawns, increasing the speed they work.

Now working on the Treasury building. Most of these are of the marble and column style the government structures use. I try to keep all of the management buildings looking a similar way so the player can have distinct city districts.

The Courthouse is done. I really like this one. I might add more copper details around the building, as its looking flat greyscale. We'll see.

The statue was a good choice. Though I drew a door behind it which you can see.

Had my bi-weekly DnD game yesterday. Currently working on the Courthouse, which will be a pawn administration / "behavior correction" building.

This one will be rather detailed I think. I will also be drawing a statue of justice in the front.

Working on the Bazaar. Like the Market it has a procedural generation component. Its a basically a direct upgrade to the Market which produces a higher passive income.

I'll post up a devlog overnight, as that is REALLY falling behind.

Restaurant is now finished. I might have to make some variations of this building eventually to prevent repetition if more are placed later, but we'll get there.

Restaurants will boost tourism, and provide comfort and leisure needs.

Residence is done, this is the Tier 7 house for Pawns. As pawn housing tier increases the total population, property value for taxes, and comfort level also increase.

This will also effect tourism, and how many and the quality of roaming NPCs that appear.

Currently working on the Observatory structure art. This structure will passively generate research and astral resources when occupied by a pawn. Looking at this animation now, I see something I need to fix already.

I've been theory crafting a side project. This is zoomed in on a sheet of hundreds of UI parts. I don't want to show even the color scheme because that would give away what it is.

Had my bi-weekly sunday DnD group, on sunday, and am currently being nerd sniped theory crafting a side project. It happens, but I've been working on some pretty cool stuff in UI design.

I've moved on to make some of the smaller structures. This is the Bungalow, the Tier 6 house for pawns. Will probably also work on the Residence, Observatory, Restaurant, and Bazaar at least a little bit, overnight.

Still working on the City Hall interior animations, then I can move on to some of the smaller buildings just to get more of them knocked out. Making dynamic scenes with only 4 frames is a challenge.

The fountain animation is done, and I have a test image for the procedural advertising banners. This one is some kind of live show.

The water was a little rough to get to look like water, but I think it looks okay now.
