3/? Add a basic medikit for $85 and MOLLE it on (thread it through the loops, Google how to MOLLE properly). Stop the bleed or tactical medical courses are offered in some municipalities. CarryTrainer has a 3 hour TCCC (tactical medicine) course on YouTube. That's $825.

Get yourself a sight and some mags for $250 on Palmetto, and get some cheap bulk .223 or 5.56, few hundred bucks, check Ammoseek. Get zeroed, and you're in business. Add a stream light and good 2 point sling later, maybe a chest rig and a medikit. Under 1k USD, you can get a basic rifle setup going.
