Cranky gardener. Oregon 8b.
Prone to bouts of sarcasm.
Exactly. And then add kids? Erm…. naw.

We didn’t want suburbia. We wanted a garden. On our incomes, we had to move much farther out (housing prices $$$) and stay close to town. We couldn’t afford a smol farm, so… here we are. 🥸

Good for you!
I quit about 15-20 years ago. But there are times…

Not bad. And yourself?

Smart to move 11 and 13 apart. Space between them will grant you *some* peace.

Renovation? Smoke house? 🤔
Could be a fun project. We want to knock our shed down and build a shed/greenhouse combo. One day…

You are correct. Again.

But I did get up on the rooftop today.
Gutters.
Now I feel ancient AND cold.

That’s one more mouthful for kale then?
November 30, 2025 at 6:14 PM
I can and have been/done both. They are not mutually exclusive.

Don’t go out tonight.
It’s bound to take your life.
There’s a bathroom on the right.
November 30, 2025 at 5:49 PM
Yes!!!
Camellias carry us thru the worst of winter. That’s one reason why we have a few.
November 30, 2025 at 5:17 PM
Yes! And then have to take it all back down!?!? In a month!?!?

Ugh… 😑
November 30, 2025 at 5:14 PM
Well… yes. But I never thought myself smart.
“Smart assed”? Yes.
November 30, 2025 at 5:33 AM
Get that soy sauce trap! Quick!
November 30, 2025 at 2:11 AM
It is!
Thankful to @heralyn.bsky.social for insisting on buying wheeled tools.

Because… yunno… I would never use a cart. Those are for “old” people. 🥸

And because it’s tubing, you could also insert a rod or some rebar. We just pushed the ends in the dirt of the raised beds.

The stiffness helps with the stability.
November 30, 2025 at 1:40 AM
Better today. Thank you asking.
We do have the larger permanent pots on wheels, which makes arrangements easier. A large dolly/hand truck for big pots, and a garden wagon for everything else.

Wheels, levers, and fulcrums are wonderful tools.

Something PEX like?
November 30, 2025 at 1:29 AM
Thank Mike… now I have to go shopping…
November 30, 2025 at 12:02 AM
Don’t forget your electric toothbrush!
November 28, 2025 at 4:44 PM
Pie!?!? For breakfast!?!?
You are human after all… not some kale-growing-kale-eating machine.
November 28, 2025 at 4:02 PM
Don’t forget to wear your bee costume!
