Another very rough, unfinished hourly comic panel. Close up of my face with my laptop screen reflected in my glasses. Really rough unfinished drawing of an hourly comic panel. I'm frantically hoovering under the couch with a sweaty look of panic on my scribbled face, while picturing Luz saying "I would NEVER fuck someone with a dirty floor." I think to myself, I love my wife, I love my hoover... Many tiny woodlice scatter in fright.

Sitting on a couch in the lounge area of this hotel. The whole town is deserted. Raining really hard outside the window. Luz is on the other couch. We’ve got two whiskeys and coke between us and we’re both pretending to read our books.

extremely proud of how the reprint came out for A VERY FRAGILE RELEASE. this is exactly how i envisioned these books - bone dry uncoated stock and an invisible spot gloss on Kingdom of Uranus, all printed locally in Glasgow 🥳

kingdom of uranus came out of this really strong nonsensical feeling I had that extended beyond "I wish we'd known each other forever" into "I wish I could have carried you as a baby, raised you myself and kept you safe your whole life long"
