Have you watched TiNSEL TOWN yet? Liked that one a lot.

These Sky originals have so much higher production value and acting caliber than American made-for-TV holiday fare.

Am I wrong, though?

Honestly, that pic of Whitman looks more like Old Navy ad than Hallmark holiday rom-com series—the network's first and, given their lack of enthusiasm, likely also their last

I don't know if TWELVE DATES good or not, but the way they're rolling it out probably means its quality barely matters. Sigh

You also think Hallmark would want to make VERY clear that this is a scripted original series, and NOT a dating show, given the title proximity to now-defunct, two season HBO Max reality 12 DATES OF CHRISTMAS that ran from 2020-21 and the TWELVE DATES ’TIL CHRISTMAS key art does not do that at all.

They seem to be barely promoting this not inexpensive effort, which they're burning off in a just three week run, and I'm not seeing any of the actors making the rounds to talk it up.

Guess there's still a little time, but odd choices all around.

Still surprised TWELVE DATES 'TIL CHRISTMAS not getting splashier/earlier roll out. Hallmark holiday ratings usually highest Nov 15-Dec 15, peaking near Thanksgiving. While DATES launches in latter half of range (12/5), doesn't finish until 12/19, very late in season, with only 2 weeks to build buzz

There's a tradition that proves pivotal, so won't give away, but when she first mentions it I'm like, We did that, and my husband said, Yeah, us too. And then the movie instantly jumps in to depict it as a unique thing that will help him narrow the search when really it's just the midwest WASP norm.

Can only really fully recommend the top 3 above, since there honestly are no Hallmark movies I've truly loved so far this season. But I think I said the same thing last year at this time, then December brought THE SANTA CLASS and SUGARPLUMMED, so there's still hope.

Liked WE MET IN DECEMBER less than most others seem to, but maybe I went in with too high of expectations. And that dress was just so…is fashion backward a thing? It read very Sears catalog 1992. Not exactly something to give up your law career for. And you know Chicago…famously just the one church.

Jim Carrey's GRINCH monstrosity is only a Christmas "classic" if you first saw it when you were 8. And, yes, you can probably say the same about THE POLAR EXPRESS, though I'd argue that, creepy animation aside, EXPRESS still a least tells a consistently kid-friendly story and has some great music.
